An open discussion took place about „Teaching Australian Studies at the University“ (1. Juni 2016, 18-19:30 Uhr, FB Anglistik und Amerikanistik (TV Raum), Spitalgasse 2-4, Hof 8.2, 1090 Wien). In the panel discussion the challenges, difficulties and rewards of teaching Australian Studies at the University are addressed and discussed.

The discussion was followed by brief readings from modern literary texts chosen by the three panelists. The audience was completed by students, staff and general public. After the readings an opportunity for socializing and networking over a glass of wine was offered.
Teaching Australian Studies at the University is a joint event of the Austrian-Australian Society (ÖAG), the English Department and the University Library, English and American Studies Library and supported by the Australian Embassy, Vienna.
